Using a prepared silk scarf, you will use alcohol inks to dye your scarf. You will also learn different techniques to create different special effects, as well as experimenting with colours. You will also learn how to make your own alcohol inks using sharpie markers, and how to prepare your silk for dying.
All supplies are included in the course fee, and the instructor can advise you about purchasing your own supplies.
Upon completion of the course, you will take home a completed fabric art wall hanging, 12” x 18”beautiful hand dyed silk scarf 8 x 60 inches, and one bottle of alcohol in to use on other projects
