Have you ever looked at the quilts, wall hangings and table runners quilted by your friends and wished you could do that too? Well this is the course for you.
This course is designed for individuals who have no knowledge of quilting, but want to learn. You will have some limited knowledge of sewing, and are able to bring a sewing machine to the classroom.
You will create 3 small projects, and you will learn techniques that are transferable to larger projects, such as table runners, wall hangings and quilts.
Fabric and supplies are included for the first project, but you will be required to shop for the supplies for your second and third projects.
The instructor can advise you about purchasing your own supplies.
There will be home sewing required, and upon completion of the course, you will take home three beautiful projects that you have developed yourself.
Refreshments are included.
This is a hands-on course offering individual attention and participation is limited to 5 participants.
Course Fee - $95 +HST (includes some supplies, but not all) Kits will be available on a cost recovery basis, for projects 2 and 3.
