Beginners Guide to Creating Fabric Art

Creating fabric art is not as difficult as everyone thinks.
This course is designed for individuals who already have a basic knowledge of quilting, but want to learn something more. It involves thinking about fabric in new ways and allows you to develop a new side to your quilting fun.
Using the fabric supplied, you will learn about the basic techniques and create an interesting and challenging wall hanging.
Fabric supplies are included in the course fee, except for hanging hardware.
The instructor can advise you about purchasing your own supplies.
Upon completion of the course, you will take home a completed fabric art wall hanging, 12” x 18”
Refreshments are included.
This is a hands-on course offering individual attention and participation is limited to 5 participants.
Course fee: $95 + HST
This is an introductory course. A more advanced course, focusing on design, developing canvasses and larger pieces of fabric will also be offered, if there is sufficient interest.
